Overview

Connect Slack and Tierity posts to a channel when findings pass their deadline, so overdue work doesn’t depend on someone checking the Workbench.

Setup

1

Open Slack in Tierity

Go to Config → Integrations → Slack.
2

Authorize

Connect Slack, then choose your workspace and the channel to post to and click Allow in Slack. You’re sent back to Tierity when it’s done.
3

Test it

Click Test connection to check a message arrives in the channel.

What gets posted

SLA breach alerts. Tierity checks deadlines every hour. When findings pass their SLA, it posts one summary per organization, grouped by severity:
Findings that are still overdue are posted again every week until they’re fixed, so a breach doesn’t quietly age out of view.

Other channels

The same alerts can also go to Discord, email or any webhook endpoint. Each channel is configured separately in Config → Integrations, and each can be turned on or off on its own.

Disconnecting

Go to Config → Integrations → Slack and click Disconnect. To remove the app from your workspace as well, uninstall it from Slack’s app management page.
