Email and code

Signing in and signing up are the same steps:
  1. Go to tierity.com/login and enter your email.
  2. Click Continue. Tierity emails you a 6-digit code.
  3. Enter the code.
If the email doesn’t have an account yet, entering the code creates one on the free plan. No password is needed.
Didn’t get the email? Check spam, then use Send a new code on the code screen.

Password

If your account has a password, enter your email and choose Password instead of Continue. From the password screen you can still switch to Email me a sign-in code instead. There’s no separate sign-up with a password: new accounts are created with an emailed code.

Single sign-on (SSO)

Choose SSO to sign in through your company’s identity provider. If your administrator requires SSO for your account, password and email codes are turned off for you and you’ll be sent to your company’s sign-in page. See Roles and permissions for how administrators set up and require SSO.

Two-factor authentication

You can add an authenticator app under Profile → Security. If your administrator requires two-factor authentication, Tierity takes you to that page to set it up the first time you sign in.

Invitations

An invitation email links to the sign-in page. Sign in with the invited email address using a code, and you’ll join the organization that invited you.

Self-hosted Tierity can use one of three sign-in modes, set by the server administrator: See Self-hosting to choose a mode.
