# dmarcian

> View DMARC report data and email authentication coverage from dmarcian in Tierity.

## Overview

dmarcian helps organizations deploy and monitor DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) for email security. The Tierity integration imports your DMARC report data so you can review email authentication coverage and spoofing attempts alongside other security findings.

## Prerequisites

* A dmarcian account
* Manage access (or higher) in Tierity

## Credentials required

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| **API Key** | A dmarcian API key generated from your account settings |

## Setup

**1. Get your dmarcian API key**

1. Log in to your dmarcian account.
2. Go to **Account Settings → API**.
3. Copy your **API Key**.

If the API section is not visible, contact dmarcian support — API access may need to be enabled on your plan.

**2. Configure in Tierity**

1. Go to **Config → Integrations → dmarcian**.
2. Paste your **API Key**.
3. Click **Save & Test**.

## What gets synced

| Data | Description |
| - | - |
| **DMARC compliance rate** | Percentage of messages that pass DMARC authentication |
| **Source breakdown** | Email sources sending on behalf of your domain (legitimate and unauthorized) |
| **Spoofing attempts** | Messages failing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC checks |
| **Domain coverage** | Which of your domains have DMARC policies deployed |
| **Policy enforcement** | Current DMARC policy per domain (`none`, `quarantine`, or `reject`) |

## Viewing in Tierity

DMARC data from dmarcian appears on the Security Workbench and in the dmarcian detail view:

* The workbench card shows your overall DMARC compliance rate and flagged unauthorized senders.
* The detail view shows a per-domain breakdown with source tables and aggregate report summaries.

## Disconnecting

1. Go to **Config → Integrations → dmarcian**.
2. Click **Disconnect**.
3. Confirm.
