# Pull requests waiting on you

> A personal queue of the pull requests that need you: review requests, changes requested, failing checks, conflicts and PRs ready to merge.

## Overview

**Inbox → Pull requests** lists the GitHub pull requests waiting on you, across every repository you can see. It's built from your own GitHub account, so it shows the same PRs GitHub would, and it refreshes every 15 minutes.

## Why a PR is in your queue

| Reason | When |
| - | - |
| **Review requested** | Someone asked you, or a team you're on, to review |
| **Changes requested** | A reviewer requested changes on your PR |
| **Checks failing** | CI is failing on your PR |
| **Merge conflict** | Your PR conflicts with its base branch |
| **Ready to merge** | Your PR is approved and its checks pass |

A PR leaves the queue once it no longer needs you: it's merged or closed, the review is done, or the checks pass.

## Setup

The queue uses your own GitHub token, not the organization's GitHub integration, so it works even if your organization hasn't connected GitHub. Add a GitHub personal access token under **[Profile → Connections](https://docs.tierity.com/profile/connections.md)** that can read the repositories you work in. Tokens you save there are encrypted at rest.

Click **Refresh** on the Pull requests tab to update straight away.

## Notifications

* The first sync sends one summary notification of everything waiting.
* After that, each newly waiting PR sends a notification.
* If a PR is still waiting on you after 24 hours, you get one reminder.

Notifications appear in the bell in the top bar. Click one to open the PR, or open the queue from the notification list.
